Crockpot Honey Mustard Ham & Beans
I got this recipe off of allrecipes.com but changed it a bit to add beans! What’s a ham without beans!! OMG I’m never cooking ham any other way! This was so tasty and my hubby loved the beans on top of his Smashed Bliss Potatoes!! I made this a second time and served it with a Grilled Corn & Asparagus. With the beans it was plenty as a meal! It got a lot of good reviews too, here are just a few:

- 5 lb. bone in fully cooked ham (I used 1 lb of sliced ham that was already packaged)
- 1 Can of Baked Beans (16 oz) I used 98% Fat Free
- 1/3 cup apple juice (I used apple cider)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Place ham in 4-5 quart crockpot.
Combine Apple juice, brown sugar, beans, honey, mustard, and pepper in a small bowl and blend well. (I actually didn’t have apple juice in the house so I substituted it with water…….STILL plenty of flavor!!
Spread over ham. Cover crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours. (Mine cooked on low for 4 hours) I think next time I’ll add two cans of beans!
Slice and serve.
Note: I’ve also bought a lb. of ham that was already packaged, it was basically just a large chunk of ham, I was able to cut it in half and it served me, my husband, and my daughter. My crock cooks very fast so I only cooked it for 4-5 hours. It was super moist!!! You can basically use any cut of Ham as long as it fits in your crock!!! MMMMMMmmmmmm…
