I got the idea from a couple of different websites then came up with my own idea!! Next time I’ll try them with pizza dough but I liked them this way too! It’s hard to give an amount on the below ingredients, use your judgement. I was able to make 6 balls using 1 pkg. of Crescent Breadsticks I had on hand.
What you Need:
Pizza Dough of your choosing or Crescent dough
Tomato Sauce of your choosing
Turkey mini Pepperoni’s
Low fat Mozzarella Cheese (or Pizza/Taco Cheese)
Whatever other filling you like with your pizza!
Low Fat Parmesan Cheese
Pull the dough apart and flatten into a circles (make whatever size you want, but not too big. Take a tsp. of sauce and spread it on top of each circle. Place your filling on top and then put the cheese on top of each circle. Roll it into a ball so nothing is showing. If sauce or filling is showing it will spill out of the ball while cooking Repeat this until you get as many balls as you want from the dough.
Place them on a baking sheet (They can touch, you just have to pull them apart to eat! Spread oil on top of each one. Sprinkle with garlic salt and parmesan cheese. Bake at 350F for 10-15 min depending on what dough you’ve chosen. I just checked mine after 10 min and they were done!! YUM!
