Happy Friday to this momma!! My hubby is officially home from work and our weekend has begun!! Crockpot Chicken Enchillada Soup is in the crock!!! Simple to make and it looks yummy. I’m also made some Homemade Tortilla Chips to crunch on top, not sure how it will come out but I’ll give it a shot!! Each recipe has a new detailed view of the recipe, we all love pictures! Here is my boo enjoying a morning apple🙂
I also made the Strawberry Banana Baked Oatmeal Squares this morning too, I haven’t tasted them yet but they smelled amazing while they cooked and my daugther had some for lunch!! She loved it! You think??
So here is the Cast of Ingredients:
So I started by stirring together, 2 Cups of Old Fashioned Oats, 1 tsp. of baking powder, 1/4 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon and 1/3 Cup of Brown Sugar. Their are always little packed balls in brown sugar (I hate that) so using a spoon squish them all together and blend it well with the Oats.
Next pour 1 Cup of Skim milk into a bowl. Lightly beat the egg into it.
Add 2 tsp of vanilla and 1/4 Cup of half and half and whisk that together.
Mix the liquid mixture into the dry mixture and combine well.
Stir well and then spread into an 8×8 pan.
Bake at 375F for 30 min. Let it cool completely before removing from the pan.
Cut it into squares and store it for the week for breakfast!! Serve with fresh strawberries and banana’s on top! YUM!
So I came across this challenge from a fellow foodie blogger. Amen to me for signing up for it on the very last day possible! I’ve had no time prepare for it, but it can’t be that bad right?? LOL…..I blog almost everyday anyways……..SO click here to see what it’s about! And don’t forget to check back each day to see what I’ve come up with. Tomorrow starts with the Letter “A” so I’ve decided to make Apple Sweet Potato Bake along with Asparagus w/Creamy Tarragon as a side dish to go with my Parmesan-Sage Pork Tenderloins.
So what else has this momma been up to today…..well I was pretty defeated on Friday realizing that I couldn’t get a “Link Button” onto my site with wordpress, however I contacted support because I couldn’t help but think their has to be a way, it’s just I’m so green at this that the way I was trying was my following someone else’s directions that doesn’t work for wordpress sooooo I’m glad I contacted support because here is my button!!!!! Now people (anyone) can just grab the code underneath my button and use it on their own website and my button will appear on their sidebar!!!! YAY!!!!
