Ahhhh yes “D” is for Drumsticks……yummy yummy Drumsticks with Heat!!!!! My hubby loves chicken with a kick, not only chicken with a kick but chicken on a bone, which I’m not fond of, every now and again I’ll make it for him and suck it up! 🙂 What’s a good wife to do right? I made this recipe up myself because I wanted to make it with as much “Heat” as possible, believe it or not it wasn’t even that spicy however I did take most of the skin off because I know how “unhealthy” it is for you! I also tried to go with the “D” theme tonight since I had the time, so I made Dijon Viniagrette Asaparagus and Deviled Potatoes! YUM!!! For the actual recipe for Drumstick’s with Heat, Click Here.

OK so here we go. I first marinated the drumsticks this morning. Let them stew in that “Heat” all day long! I added the BBQ Sauce, Red Pepper Flakes and Franks Red Hot Sauce in a ziplock bag and dumped all the Drumsticks in and coated them, swished them around and put them in the fridge!

I shook them around throughout the day!

 but when I was ready to cook them I sprayed a throw away baking sheet (and this I recommend because once they are cooked, it’s not pretty and I sure as heck don’t want to scrub a pan that bad!!) with spray oil and popped them in the oven at 350F for 20 minutes. I then flipped them, slapped some more of the marinade on them and cooked them for another 20 minutes.

My husband loved how they smelled while they were cooking! I have to admit, I don’t really like chicken on a bone but damn they look good!!!

I think this momma did great with the letter “D” tonight! Here it all is!!! YUM!
