Ok it doesn’t sound appealing to me however I know exactly who will love these cookies! My husband and my daughter!! I’m making them in honor of the A to Z Challenge letter “J” and I’ll bring them to my daughters daycare and I think the kids will love them!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup soft butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oat
  • 1 cup jelly bean , cut in pieces

Directions:

Mix butter and both sugars until smooth.

Stir in egg, baking soda, baking powder, salt and vanilla and mix well.

Stir in flour and oats until well blended.

Stir in jelly beans.

Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet about 2″ apart.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
