I got this recipe from my new cookbook Tasteful Treasures, every Tuesday I’m posting a new recipe from this book, however I came across this dish last night as I was looking for a side to serve with my Pork Chops w/Apple & Raisin Relish….this seemed perfect!


1 tbsp. oil
1 lg. red pepper, cut into thin slices
1 lg. red onion, thinly sliced
1 pd. of green beans, cooked
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper


Cook green beans by boiled water or steamed. Heat oil in a medium skillet. Add red pepper and onions.

Saute for 3 minutes. Add beans. Heat through, toss with vinegar and crushed red pepper. Serves 4.














I served it with Pork Chops w/Apple & Raisin Relish.
